What started as monthly meetups between artists and event planners—simply to connect and avoid overlapping island events—has grown into something much bigger. With our first paid employee now on board, Galiano Arts Alliance is evolving into a dedicated hub for uplifting and supporting artists of all kinds on Galiano.
Kendall McLaughlin
Outreach Projects Manager
Kendall has lived on Galiano for four years and has quickly become a dedicated and passionate community builder. They currently serve as the Outreach Projects Manager for the Galiano Arts Alliance, an Education Researcher with the Access to Media Education Society, and the Engagement Coordinator for the B.C. Wildlife Federation.
While Kendall’s academic background is rooted in biology, event planning has been part of their repertoire since high school. They have a deep appreciation for visual arts and music, and enjoy performing on stage—whether acting in character or singing in a choir.
